I have been dating an older man for about a month now. We had ran into each other on several different occasions and one day had asked me to go out for dinner. The kicker to the story is that he lived in the same complex as mine which I thought was pretty strange. I had went over to his apartment one evening and we both ended up sitting and talking on the couch in the living room. (keep in mind that this is my first date)
Well, I hadn’t been feeling well that entire weekend and that night of our date, i was crunched over in so much pain that I couldnt even carry on a conversation anymore. He ended up forcing me to go to the emergency room. I was so embarrased because I didn’t even know him. I ended up being admitted into the hospital for three days and he never left my sight. The feelings we exchanged between the two of us were feelings we had never experienced in any other prior relationship.
It is safe to say that we fell in love in the hospital and since a month ago, I’ve been at his apartment ever since. He is 42 and I’m 23. He is absolutely amazing! I understand that everyone has their own views on getting involved with people that are a lot older, but when real feelings are involved, nothing else matters.
Bottom line is that if the two of you are happy, go for it! What do you have to lose?
